Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal and health information.

Who we are
The Andrology Centre ("we", "us") is a specialist private urology and andrology clinic operating from HCA Healthcare UK facilities in London. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for the information you give us through this website. Our registered details and ICO registration information are available from the clinic on request.
What we collect
Through this website we collect only what you choose to send us through the enquiry form:
- Your name, email address and telephone number
- Your preferred clinic and, if you tell us, your preferred consultant
- The nature of your enquiry, how you intend to pay, and how you heard about us
- Anything you write in the free-text message box
Information about your health is special category data and is given additional protection under UK GDPR. We ask you to keep clinical detail in the form brief for that reason; your consultant will take a full history in clinic, where it is recorded in your medical record rather than on this website.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry and to arrange your appointment. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box, and — for health information — Article 9(2)(h) UK GDPR, the provision of health care by a professional bound by a duty of confidentiality.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it for marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list on the strength of an enquiry.
Who we share it with
Your information may be shared with the clinical and administrative staff involved in your care, and with the HCA Healthcare UK facility where your appointment takes place. If you are claiming on private medical insurance, we will share what your insurer requires to process the claim, with your knowledge. Enquiries are delivered directly to the clinic's own mailbox.
We will disclose information without your consent only where the law requires it, or where there is a serious risk to someone's safety.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an appointment are not kept longer than necessary. Where you become a patient, your records are kept in line with the retention periods that apply to private medical records in the UK.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email contact@theandrologycentre.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Enquiry data is transmitted securely and access is limited to the staff who need it to answer you.
